I'm a licensed clinical psychologist at Tri-Valley Psychotherapy. Below you will find answers to questions about my approach and background.

My Approach to Helping

As an expert in mindfulness and meditation, I work with adults and teens to effectively manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, anger, impulsivity, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I am also skilled in working with at-risk youth who struggle with substance use, conduct disorder, and academic challenges. With over 10 years experience and a doctoral degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology, I am well equipped to help you work through past or present trauma, manage a crisis, or cope with strong emotions. I provide a safe, compassionate, and caring environment to help you heal, and to develop new tools and skills.

My Clinical Experience

My clinical experience is at El Camino Hospital’s Psychiatric Emergency Services, ANKA Behavioral Health’s Inpatient Crisis and Alcohol and Drug Treatment Center, San Francisco Juvenile Hall, and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Currently, I am a staff psychologist at the California Department of State Hospitals.

My Special Interests

I sincerely believe in whole-person wellness and that mind, body, and spirit need to be nurtured for overall mental health and well-being to be stabilized. I am a certified meditation instructor and group fitness trainer.
